Camden Infrastructure Fund, Application Form

Please only apply if you can tick yes to the following eligibility criteria: 

1. You have a strong track record of delivering infrastructure support to the VCS in Camden.

2. You have a strong connection to the borough and a strong relationship across the VCS in Camden.

We are unable to consider applications from private companies e.g. Companies Limited by Shares, private partnerships or sole traders.

3. You are a not-for-profit organisation listed below:
•	Registered Charity
•	Community Group
•	Co-operative
•	Social Enterprise with a ‘not-for-profit’ distribution clause
•	Community Interest Company

4. You have a governing document whose objectives are in line with the aim and outcomes of this fund.

In exceptional cases this may be waived. Contact vcs@camden.gov.uk  to discuss before proceeding. 

5. You have an average annual turnover over the last three years of less than £2m. Based on your three most recent published accounts. 

6. Your organisation has independently examined or audited accounts for the financial year 2021 - 2022 in line with Charity Commission requirements. 

Before proceeding with your application, please confirm that you meet all the minimum requirements for funding. If you answer no to any of these questions, then you will not meet our criteria and your application will not be considered. 
If you are successful in this grant application, we may ask for documents mentioned in the minimum requirements to be supplied.

You operate in line with best practice in charity governance including:    

1.1 You have a minimum of five trustees, three of whom are Camden residents or have a strong Camden connection. 

1.2 None of your trustees and/or senior staff members are living at the same address.

1.3 None of your trustees and/or senior staff members are related.

1.4 You have a constitution, trust deed or articles and memorandum of association. 

2. Living Wage 

2.1 You pay London Living Wage as a minimum to all your employees and/or contractors. 

3. Safeguarding 


You have safeguarding policies for children and vulnerable adults developed or renewed within the last 2 years, with a named designated officer and their contact details, with staff being trained and with relevant checks (e.g. DBS)

6.1 You have Insurance in place, including Public Liability Insurance of at least £5m.
