Camden Resilience Fund 2024 Application Form

Eligibility Criteria 

Before proceeding with your application, please confirm that you meet all of the essential criteria. If you answer no to any of these questions then you will not meet our essential criteria and your application will not be considered. 

1. You are a local Camden based charity, with your main base in Camden and the majority of your organisation’s time and money spent on delivering for Camden residents.   

We are unable to consider applications from private companies e.g. Companies Limited by Shares, private partnerships or sole traders  

2. You are a not-for-profit organisation listed below

In exceptional cases this may be waived. Contact vcs@camden.gov.uk to discuss before proceeding.  

3. Your organisation has a turnover over the last financial year of less than £2m.  

4. Your organisation has independently examined or audited accounts for the financial year - in line with Charity Commission requirements.

If you are successful in this grant application, we will ask for documents mentioned in the minimum requirements to be supplied. 

1. How will this grant address immediate risks your organisation is facing?

1.1 You pay London Living Wage as a minimum to all your employees and/or contractors.

You have safeguarding policies for children and vulnerable adults developed or renewed within the last 2 years, with a named designated officer and their contact details, with staff being trained and with relevant checks (e.g. DBS)

7.1. You have your own organisational bank account with at least two unrelated signatories. 

7.2. You have annual accounts with audited accounting systems and arrangements for income tax (PAYE); National Insurance and VAT where applicable.

You operate in line with best practice in charity/not-for-profit governance including:

8.1 None of your trustees/directors and/or senior staff members are living at the same address.

8.2 None of your trustees/directors and/or senior staff members are related.
